And just like that, it’s October! What an autumn it has been so far….
First up in news, there is a gorgeous Christmas Anthology coming out very soon, called Step Into Christmas! It features festive stories written by members of the Write Here Write Now community, and I have a short story in the anthology, eeeeek! It’s called Oh Holy Night, and follows Isla on Christmas eve, trying to help a soul pass over to the other side. Isla is a Soul Finder, a special type of Shadow Walker. it is her job to find souls struggling to let go, and release them from the mortal plane. On this night, Isla discovers an elderly gentleman on the roadside in the snow, and attends her local church carol concert.

The charity anthology After the Rain, is no longer available for purchase. Royalties are headed straight across to Hopefull Handbags to help those living with the affects of domestic abuse.
Any Harry Potter fans out there? For my 40th this year, two of my favourites took me to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in London, and for a themed HP afternoon tea. Of course I had to dress as one of my favourite scatty witches Sybill Trelawney the divination teacher. I highly recommend the afternoon tea, and the studios tour if you haven’t yet been. If you are a fan of the movies, it really is amazing. We literally spent the whole day there!
My local bookshop cafe, The Nantwich Bookshop, has some Supper Club events on over the next couple of months too which look amazing. Dine on a themed three course meal, and dress up too! I think the Tolkien themed evening will be amazing! If local to Nantwich head over and find out more. There are also several book signing events coming up, like the amazing Kate Mosse on November 5th (I’ll be going to that one, I love her Joubert Chronicles) Her final installment Map of Bones is released this week.
My newest book, will be out at the end of the month too! It was delayed a little, but good things come to those who wait 🙂 I hope you like it, I’m quite happy with it!
After this, I have a few projects I am really excited about! I can’t wait to share them with you, I just need to pick which one to share first! Maybe I’ll run a poll on my Facebook page.
