The Towers: Part One
Avril Forbes grew up in one of The Towers projects. Thrown up by the government amidst the chaos of disease and threats of war. Designed to keep communities safe.
Of course she dreams of escaping back into the world. A world which is highly screened from their eyes, as they’re made to believe that no where is safe apart from the bigger cities, but she refuses to
believe that it’s all as she has been told.
So when Daniel, her sort of, but sort of not boyfriend Lauder, tells her he has a plan for their escape she must choose between the escape she’s been dreaming of or staying with the only family she has
left.
Daniel and Avril, embark on a Journey they’ll never forget. Joined last minute by Daniel’s moody younger brother Donovan, who doesn’t get on with Avril at all.

The Towers: Part Two
Avril Forbes spent ten years of her life confined to The Towers. Every day the same. Her community groomed and molded by those in charge, so that when they were needed, they were compliant and disease free. Ready to go to war for a country they believed was keeping them safe. Unable to stay and be forced into a life she hadn’t chosen, Avril escaped.
Suddenly, she was out into the world, facing the elements, on a journey to London to try and change the views of those keeping her family locked away. Even though Avril felt alone, she was forced to share everything she had with her ex lover’s younger brother. Shelter, resources, herself.
What if she just gave up? Can Avril keep going for long enough to make a difference? Or is there really no difference to be made at all?
